Mariella Martinato has used real ox horn for the material, which has several advantages. For example, the chemical composition and molecular structure is similar to that of our own hair and nails. Horn is naturally not static and therefore glides through your beard like butter. Unlike combs made of plastic or metal, horn ensures that your hair is not damaged, but smoothes, detangles and also makes it wonderfully soft.

Because the comb is made of real ox horn, each comb has its own unique color and no comb is the same.
