This shaving strap from Herold or Solingen is made of beef leather and synthetic canvas and is used to polish open razors.
The front is made of sturdy cattle leather and the rear of synthetic canvas. The canvas side is used to heat the knife before grinding.
This Scheerriem is used in combination with yellow and white shaving belt pasta. To maintain the shaving belt, the leather part is rubbed with the yellow shaving belt pasta and and The canvas on the back with the White Shaving Riem Pasta . This way the shaving strap stays in perfect condition.

Aim :
1. Attach your shaving belt to a hook with one end.
2. Take the other end in your hand and tighten it.
3. Lay the blade completely flat on the canvas side of the shaving belt.

5. Repeat this procedure 15 times, applying as little pressure as possible to the blade.
Polishing:
