This Shavette from Feather is specially designed for those who want to shave in the classic way with an open blade, without having to do much maintenance.
The knife has a Japanese style, which means that this knife, unlike the original SS, is not foldable. The knife fits different types of refill blades that you can choose to suit your own shaving characteristics. The knife is almost maintenance-free, you just have to prevent corrosion by not keeping it in a damp room and perhaps sometimes lubricating the knife part with oil. The blade part is made of stainless steel and the handle of plastic.
The blade only works with the following Feather single edge refill blades: PB20 – PS20 – PL20 – PG15.
