Murray's history

The founder of Murray's is CD Murray. CD Murray began producing hair products in his barber shop in 1925. Initially, the brand was known to African-American men who wanted to get the classic wave look. The white men soon discovered that the well-known orange can also do wonders for their hair.

Murray's started on the simple principle that he believed that offering a fair product at a fair price would be a success. He was right.

In 1959 the pharmacist, Harry Berlin, bought Murray's from CD Murray. Working closely with the Murray family, Harry Berlin also continued to develop and offer its products using the same CD Murray principle. Today Murray's is run by Arthur Berlin and, despite the enormous growth, has remained true to the principle of fair products at a fair price. Murrays core values ​​therefore sound like: honesty, respect and integrity.

The look of the cans is iconic - the well-known orange can. It has not gone unnoticed by people that the tins are decorated with a different print each time.
