Born from a love for bath and body products, the brand now has a line of shaving products. The founders of the brand wanted to create all aspects that they liked themselves in 1 good line with quality products. The products therefore had to be caring, luxurious and smell divine. And the founders of the brand have succeeded.

The products are all handmade and full of delicious ingredients such as exotic butters, premium fragrances, botanicals and essential oils. You will also find absolutely no parabens or phthalates in Moon Soaps products. The ingredients are organic, sustainable and (where possible) local.

The History of Moon Soaps

What started as a 'one-woman soap company' has become a partnership between husband and wife. After more than 10 years of making only cold process soaps and body products, the husband (Zachery) decided to join his wife. His goal? Make a good shaving soap. He had just started getting into the world of wet shaving at the time and felt that adding this category would greatly broaden their audience. With a tremendous amount of research and guidance, Zachery set out to create Moon Soaps' first shaving soap.

From creating product formulations to designing packaging and labels, the brand has always wanted to keep every aspect of Moon Soaps 'in-house'. That even goes so far that they make their own beef tallow. This is one aspect that makes Moon Soaps unique and sets itself apart from the rest. All products are made in their home in their homemade pharmacy studio in California.
